Tips for winter time nail care

Are you suffering from dry, cracked cuticles? Wintertime is very harsh to the cuticles. Moisture is important in helping you achieve healthy cuticles. Healthy cuticles make your hands look nicer and who need the pain of a hangnail or broken cuticle?

A quality moisturizer, such as my body butter, used throughout the day will help with dry skin. And using a cuticle oil at night before bed daily will provide your cuticles the moist
ure and nutrients they crave. When choosing a cuticle oil, look on the label and make sure that the first oil is not mineral or lanolin oils. You want your first oil to be sunflower, sweet almond, safflower or shea oil.
If you do not have a cuticle oil, grab your olive oil out of the pantry and rub it in! Ol
ive oil will work in a pinch but it will not give you the nutrients that
a high quality cuticle oil will give you.
I will be introducing a cuticle oil in Spring 2010. So be on the look out for that.
